Perspective

Understanding comes first.

I’m Logan Showalter, a Pennsylvania real estate sales associate with Coldwell Banker Realty in Pittsburgh. My approach starts with understanding the way you want to live, what matters most to you, and what you need from your next move.

For 15 years, interpreting has taken me across Pittsburgh, into people’s homes, local businesses, and many of the settings that make up everyday life. That work has given me a familiarity with a wide range of neighborhoods and a perspective on the city shaped by the people who live and work here.

Interpreting has shaped how I work with people. Listening carefully, communicating clearly, and paying attention to context matter. I bring that same care to real estate, helping you ask useful questions, weigh your options, and make informed decisions.

Whether you’re looking for a home or preparing to sell, you can expect honest advice, responsive communication, and attention to the details that matter to you.

An eye for possibility

Beyond the first impression.

I’m drawn to architecture, renovation, and woodworking because they bring design and everyday life together. A room can be beautiful, but how does it work? What gives a piece of furniture its character? What makes a neighborhood feel like somewhere you want to stay?

Sometimes it’s the light, the proportions, or the materials. Sometimes it’s a practical detail that makes life easier. I enjoy figuring out how those pieces fit together and helping people see possibilities they might have overlooked.

That curiosity carries into my real estate work. From considering a home’s layout to discussing how to present it for sale, I look at both the impression a space makes and the way it supports the people who live there.

Outside of real estate

Always exploring.

My interest in homes extends into the way I spend my time. I enjoy renovation and woodworking, especially the process of figuring out how a space or an object can feel better and work better. Running, discovering trails, and exploring Pittsburgh’s restaurants bring a different kind of enjoyment: time outdoors, a change of scenery, and another opportunity to get to know the city. Those experiences keep me curious about the places we choose and what makes them feel like our own.
